Kaylee had her regular check up appointment at St. Jude Huntsville September 14th. It was just a physical exam and time for us to check in with them now that they are her quarterback for treatment. We all agreed to the yearly timeline for scans instead of 6 months. Kaylee will have her next scans (will be an MRI) in March or April. After that, we will meet back at St. Jude Huntsville to discuss the results and do lab work where they will look for potential tumor markers.
All in all, it was a great appointment. They gave Kaylee a t-shirt and invited her to an event for St. Jude kids next week at Insanity Skate.
Kaylee is doing awesome right now!. She is a sophomore at Sparkman High School. She's currently playing two sports, flag football for SHS and club soccer for North Alabama Soccer Coalition. Her flag football team won it's first two games this week!
